ACTION RESOURCES LTD SUCCEED IN MAKING THEIR PRESENCE FELT AT “AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL 2001”
This fast expanding HR / Personnel Service
Company established by former Somerset TEC Chief Executive, Roger Phillips, in
late 1999 has succeeded in moving up a gear in 2001. Having already developed
its popular recruitment and small firms personnel and training support services
(“Performance through People”) in the South-West Region, the Company took “The
Motorsport Network” to the exciting Autosport International 2001 exhibition at
the NEC, Birmingham, from 11th to 14th January. “The
Motorsport Network” is a Company business area that includes services such as
Race Driver Management; Team Development; Strategic Partnerships (seeking
financial backing for drivers). Using their expertise the key objective at the
show was to market their Recruitment, Personnel and Training Services, in
particular to launch three new services within “The Motorsport
Network” specifically orientated towards Britain’s burgeoning Motorsport
sector:
1. the new on-line
Recruitment Register dedicated to the Motorsport industry and designed to make
people more aware that there are roles within the Industry that you would find
in any other industry, eg. Marketing; Finance; PR/Media; Personnel etc.;
2. the new Personnel
& Training Support Service developed for the Motorsport industry; and
3. the new
Management Development in Motorsport Support Service reflecting the need
outlined in the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA)’s newly published
‘motorsport pathfinder report’.
Also on offer was the eBusiness award winning K-Frameâ knowledge management software, and, personal and team effectiveness products from Time/system (UK) Ltd.
The response was overwhelming with well over 700 people visiting their stand during the four-day show. Great interest was shown in all the services on offer and over 350 potential candidates signed up to the Recruitment Register at the show and many companies within the Industry approached Action Resources to place their vacancies on the Register. Somerset’s top racing driver Jamie Davies, who is managed by Action Resources, also appeared on their stand making members of the public very happy by signing a poster depicting his superb Formula 3000 second place performance at Monaco in June last year.
