1960 Mercedes 190, 220S/SE and 220SE Cabriolet/Coupe brochures
A set of three Mercedes-Benz London Motor Show brochures from 1960 in terrific original condition.All three documents are in full colour and measure 12 x 8.5 inches.
The first has a plastic spiral binder and a spec sheet in a pocket at the back and features the 190 saloon model. Full pull-out photo of the car in Burgundy.
The second - with a similar binding - consists of 22 pages and covers the 220 S and SE saloon range, again complete with a spec sheet. We read of "added grace with added space" - where have we heard that before? An absolutely glorious brochure.
The third part of this package is a conventionally-bound leaflet of 16 pages featuring the Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Cabriolet and Coupe. The illustrations are mainly the "artist's drawings" favoured at that time.
